June's Mince Fruit Bread Pudding

*8-inch square baking pan

2 cups evaporated milk

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 tbsp of corn starch or custard powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp cinnamon

1/2 /tsp nutmeg

2 tbsp butter

4 tbsp June’s Mince Fruit

12 slices of bread (less bread depending on the size)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a pan add milk, condensed milk, corn starch or custard pudding, vanilla extract, and butter.
  2. Heat until it comes to a boil while whisking
  3. Grease pan then add 1st layer of bread pieces and arrange them evenly. Sprinkle June’s Mince Fruit on bread then pour in some milk mixture, press using spoon. Add remainder of bread pieces, add June’s Mince Fruit, then pour in the remaining milk mixture on top, press with spoon
  4. Bake at 350 for 35 mins or until the top is golden
  5. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream or cool whip
